Are You Satisfied?
Around me is nothing but fleece.
I got orders actual paying orders for the fleece scarves I make. Giving one away as a gift created 4 of the orders.
Currently cutting the purple and black one. The pink and grey one is sitting on my desk in the on deck circle to be cut up. There is a red and black one pinned and waiting to be sewn and another red black one waiting to get pinned up.
I'm tired. More of a physically exhausted. Oh i slept fine. Today I'm going into work to work on my 11th day in a row. SUre the paycheck will be mighty, but really was it worth it to the stress on my hands and back. I am now having to take breaks on my cutting and sewing cause my hands are just tired and sore.
After sewing and cutting all these scarves I have to work on my outfit for santacon. THats this saturday. WHen a sea of red will take over a neighborhood in seattle and barhop and cause fear? excitement? smiles? laughter? agony? Who knows.
I may be doing some volunteering again in the near future. Seattle had some killer rains the last week and there was a lot of flooding south of here. I may go down with a crew to do some cleanup work and donation work. We will see how that pans out. I so would love to do some good work since I dont celebrate that big ole holidya anymore its still in me to give.
I've been doing a lot of reading recently. But when the books are this good its easy to get through a book a week. This weeks book is Dead Beat, part of the dresden files series, by Jim Butcher. Less than 50 pages to go.
Did i mention i was tired?
I'm still around 150 pounds. That hasnt changed. I am eating better, slightly. I'm eating salads more often as a start of my lunch or dinner so I dont eat as much of main course.
I may have a date this week too. Not sure if its going to be a date or if its just two people going out for drinks. Guess I will find out soon when he emails me again.
It would be nice to date again. It would be nice to have someones hand in mine. Nice to kiss and touch. I was actually considering, I dont even remember the last time I've kissed someone.
Other than that life is good. My mom is coming to visit so I gotta start getting this place in order. Its a fuckin sty right now. Eh, I'll have all of the 25th to clean my place.
