Sorta Fairytale

A daughter of a friend died the other day. She was 17 when she died. She had a heart transplant when she was 15 and the antirejection drugs stopped doing what they were supposed to.

I didnt know her for very long. I had only been in her company maybe a half dozen times. But there was something about her that made her special to me. Perhaps cause she was differnt. SHe reminded me of me. And maybe thats why her passing is hitting me harder than it normally would.

I didnt want to post about this at all. But I need to. Hell I'm gonna copy past this post into my blog cause i just need to write it again. (well same difference). She was a good kid. 17 is just to damn early to leave the earth.

Oh emily. I'm sorry. I'll stop crying soon I promise. I wish hearts were more easily fixed. I'll miss ya. And I so feel for your mom and dad and sisters who are just wondering where you are and when your coming home. I have to write to your dad soon, and I just dont know what to say. Its probably a good thing you cant send tears via email, I'm sure he has plenty. Say Hi to Nathan for me, if your paths cross. He'll be the one in the utilikilt and orange holey sloes.
